Annual Meeting

Eligible for: Section 1-Accredited Group Learning Activity

Credit: 1/hour

Instructions:

  • Claim credits based on the number of hours you were present at accredited sessions.
  • Note that this does not include industry sponsored events or social events.
Postgraduate Course

Eligible for: Section 2-Planned Learning-Formal Courses

Credit: 25/course

Instructions: Claim credits once for the course as a whole.

Database Positive Deviance Seminar

Two options

Eligible for: Section 1-Unaccredited Group Learning Activity

Credit: 0.5/h, max 50/cycle

Instructions: Claim credits based on the number of hours you participated in the seminar.

OR-

Eligible for: Section 3-Performance Assessment-Chart Audit

Credit: 3/hour

Best Practice Recommendations: Review of Recommendation(s)

Two options

Eligible for: Section 2-Self Learning

Credit: 0.5/activity or 1/hour

Instructions: Claim 0.5 credits for each recommendation if associated with a video, or 1 credit per hour if reviewing recommendations without video.

OR-

Eligible for: Section 3-Accredited Self-Assessment Programs (PENDING)

Credit: 3/hour

Instructions: Not yet available, pending accreditation of Feedback and Knowledge Assessment Survey

Best Practice Recommendations: Development of Recommendation(s)

Eligible for: Section 2-Systems Learning-Clinical Practice Guideline Development

Credit: 20/year

Instructions: Claim credits once per year of participation on the CATS Best Practices Committee

Royal College Exam Prep Course: Course Participant

Eligible for: Section 2-Planned Learning-Formal Courses

Credit: 25/course

Instructions: Claim credits once for the course as a whole.

Royal College Exam Prep Course: Course Faculty

Eligible for: Section 2-Systems Learning-Examination Development

Credit: 15/course

Instructions: Claim credits once for the course as a whole.

Social Media/Twitter Discussions

Eligible for: Section 1-Unaccredited Group Learning Activity

Credit: 0.5/h, max 50/cycle
