3SCTS 2022 – The inaugural Tri-Society Cardiac & Thoracic Symposium
In view of the recent events across Australia and on the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the inaugural Tri-Society Cardiac & Thoracic Symposium (3SCTS) will be postponed to the 16 – 19 November 2022 from the previously changed date of March 2022. It is the view of the 3SCTS Organising Committee that if the Symposium is held in March 2022, it would still be very vulnerable to border closures, lockdowns, and a general lack of confidence from participants to travel to Cairns, despite vaccination targets having been met. It is our view that the 6 months after Australia ‘opens up’, the first half of 2022 will be a very unpredictable time for interstate and Trans-Tasman travel.
