The Canadian Association of Thoracic Surgeons (CATS) is dedicated to promoting a national strategy of collaborative research to further the advancement of Thoracic Surgery.

CATS Database Vision: A national thoracic surgery database learning network, which performs local and national quality improvement (including best experience and evidence) and creates new knowledge, to standardize and improve care.


 

CATS DB 2025 - 9th Annual Meeting: Ottawa, ON

Working meeting highlights will include:

  • Updates on database transition to OMC and demo
  • Focus group with performance psychologist Sommer Christie
  • Positive Deviance Seminar
  • Discussion of current upcoming research projects
  • Budget review and planning
  • Review industry engagements / partnerships

Cancelled In-Person CATS National Database and Quality Improvement Program Spring Meeting  Unfortunately, due to recommendations against travel, we will be cancelling the in-person CATS Database and Quality Improvement Program Spring Meeting.
